Steel Donkey Bike Tours have teamed up with the good folk at Green Bikes Barcelona, who will be providing our two-wheel wonders…
These lean green cycling machines are (appropriately enough) made with steel frames, have wide tyres for easy-riding, are equipped with very comfortable saddles and have a handy basket for bottles of water, snacks and any suave souvenirs we pick up en route. They are brand new for 2010 so you won’t be able to rent a more reliable set of wheels in Barcelona!
If you’d rather do without the expert services and good looks of our tour guides and want to rent bikes in Barcelona for yourself then Green Bikes provide good rates. Our suggestion is take our tour to begin with and then spend a second day on the bikes exploring the rest of the city. Our things to do list might provide some inspiration or we’ll give you some tips in person!
