The price of the Steel Donkey bike ride experience is below. We’ve tried to keep our prices as competitive as possible bearing in mind the private (or small group) nature of the experience, which is part of what makes us different to every other bike tour in Barcelona.
Price per person: 35 euros each
Please note the maximum riders on any tour is 8 people (average group size is just 3-4 people), so you’ll always get plenty of opportunity to interact with your guide. We don’t run tours for one person (minimum two!), however individual travellers will be invited to join another tour wherever possible!
The price of the day out includes the bike rental and the guide, however it DOES NOT include food and drink purchased at bars/cafes, so please bring some extra cash. How much you spend on refreshments is entirely up to you! (We suggest around 15 euros, although you may want to bring more for impulse purchases and funky souvenirs)
BOOK A TOUR
We are offering 3 regular tour departures per week:
Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11.00am
A reservation in advance is always necessary! You can either book online until two days before and pay by credit card or send us an email or SMS (+34 657286854) and pay cash (only EUROS) to the guide.
If you can’t make one of our regular tour departures, we also offer private tours for 45 euros per person (minimum 2 persons). In this case, please send us an email with your preferred departure date and time and the number of persons in your group. Also, please let us know if there is anything in particular that you would like to see or that you are interested in (art, architecture, vintage shops, markets, parks, beach, food…).
For the tours we meet at the Green Bike Rental Shop on Carrer Escudellers 48 (it’s a little bit hidden, so head to our contact page for a map and directions – and make a note of our number just in case +34 657286854).

Important safety/legal notice: We are looking forward to showing you around the city, however please be aware that we will not be held responsible for your safety whilst riding with us. We suggest this experience only for competent bike riders and advise all travellers to take out adequate travel insurance before they leave home. (Ps. We don’t want to scare you however… we choose safe routes, utilising bike paths, quiet roads, parkland and beach boulevards wherever possible – and we haven’t had any accidents so far in several years of operation!). Helmets are available for free usage from our partners at the Green Bikes Shop, on request.
